RED BRIDGE DRUM CAMP 

The Drum Camp will take place May 31st - June 2nd 2024 at Red Bridge Studios in Savage, Maryland.

If you can't make all three days, no worries - feel free to register only for the days you wish to attend.

You can also register for all three days at a discounted rate!

The Red Bridge Drum Camp is unique in that it can cater to drummers of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.

The concepts and techniques taught are carefully planned to apply to all levels of drumming, and you will receive the personal guidance and feedback you need for your own drumming.

Each day of camp will consist of 4 teaching sessions led by your instructors, along with daily jam sessions, Q&A sessions, and product giveaways.

Here's a rough schedule of the topics covered by each instructor, the first class starting at 10am:

Day One - May 31st:

• Dimitri: Hand Technique Fundamentals
• Justin: Rudimental Concepts for the Drum Set
• Alex: Double Bass Technique and Phrasing
• Jonathan: How to think like an "artist"

Day Two - June 1st:

• Dimitri: How To Practice Better Than Ever Before
• Alex: 'Tiered Time' counting and Coordination
• Justin: Developing Flow & Establishing Context
• Jonathan: The Rhythmic Cheat Sheet

Day Three - June 2nd:

• Dimitri: Moeller Technique Workshop
• Justin: Practice Routine Organization & Efficiency
• Alex: Ambidexterity and applications
• Jonathan: Nested Tuplets

While there no specific age requirement for participants, 14 and up is strongly recommended. Parents please be mindful of the schedule so that everything can run smoothly!

The registration deadline is May 17th .

We encourage interested participants to register EARLY to secure their spot as space is limited and to take advantage of  the early registration discount!

Meals are not included in the camp registration fee.

However, there will be designated meal breaks, and participants are encouraged to bring their own food or explore ample nearby dining options.

Participants should bring their drumsticks, practice pads, notebooks for taking notes, and any personal items they may need during the camp.

For accommodations we recommend staying at either the Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Laurel Near Fort Meade or the Quality Inn Jessup - Columbia South Near Fort Meade. Both options offer comfortable lodging and are a five minute drive from Red Bridge Studios.

As for airport travel, we suggest flying into Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).

Participants can cancel their registration up to May 6th to receive a full refund.

Cancellations made after the deadline may be subject to a cancellation fee.
